Clinical Specialties
I have developed a number of clinical specialties in my physio practice. The biggest of these is being a Certified ConnectTherapy™ Practitioner, of which there are only a small number of us worldwide. This is a whole-body approach that takes into account your history and movement to determine the cause of your current symptoms. This means I will very likely take a whole-body approach to your assessment and can perform a full biomechanical assessment.
Within ConnectTherapy™ sits the Thoracic Ring Approach™ which is an innovative way of assessing the thoracic spine and rib cage (rings). This can be really useful for thoracic spine and rib conditions, but can also be the missing piece to problems occurring elsewhere.
These approaches can be really useful for people with multiple pathologies, complex presentations, re-occurring issues and unresolved problems.
